Probe Technology Services was formed in 1994 by a group of engineering specialists with backgrounds in companies such as Halliburton, Gearhart, SIE and Computalog. Leveraging this broad level of engineering experience, the company quickly became the leading independent manufacturer of open-hole and cased-hole logging tools and equipment. The majority of our engineering and manufacturing personnel have spent their entire careers in the well logging business. And now, our staff includes personnel who have had experience at Schlumberger and Baker Atlas as well as the companies previously mentioned.

This breadth of expertise gives us a unique advantage in knowing what has been tried across the industry, what works and what doesn’t. Today, Probe has direct experience with virtually every downhole logging tool being used in the industry. Simply put, when it comes to well logging technology, we’re experts.

Our historical focus has been to develop and manufacture logging tools and systems that empower independent and national/state-owned wireline companies with the ability to provide their customers state-of-the-art logging services.
