Gamma Ray / CCL / Neutron Tool

The Gamma Ray / CCL / Neutron Tool utilizes a scintillation style detector using a 1-inch diameter x 4-inch long crystal for the gamma ray measurement.

The crystal is coupled to a ruggedized high temperature photomultiplier tube packaged in a shock-mounted assembly. The instrument contains a single 1-inch diameter x 6-inch long He3 neutron detector.

The dual magnet center coil Casing Collar Locator (CCL) provides maximum sensitivity through 7-inch diameter casing. Internal circuitry enables no loss in count rate when operated simultaneously with bond equipment.

Note: Proper local or federal nuclear regulatory agency licenses and requirements must be met to possess and/or operate a chemical neutron source.
