X-Y Open-Hole Caliper Tool

Probe's 4-arm X-Y Open Hole Caliper Tool measures bore-hole diameters in two axes simultaneously at 90°to each other, at the same depth reference. The output signal from the X and Y-axes are transmitted to the surface in a bipolar pulse format (Positive pulse frequency for the X-axis, and negative pulse frequency for the Y-axis).

The tool can be operated on both, a mono-cable configuration, or a multi-conductor line with any surface acquisition system capable of simultaneously measuring two pulse frequencies.
