The Open Hole Cablehead Assembly is a heavy-duty positive release cablehead assembly suitable for running combination open hole tool stacks.
This style of cablehead assembly eliminates constant re-heading of the wireline as the wireline is no longer the weak point release. Release of the wireline from the cablehead during an emergency situation is accomplished by shear assemblies internal to the cablehead which are available in 4,000, 5,000, 6000 and 10,000 lb. ranges.
