Lithology and geological evaluation is an absolute necessity to determine the overall productivity of formations. Seismic based information must be correlated with data acquired downhole to provide accurate and realtistic models of reservoir properties. Petrophysical logs derived from a number of different tools are used to define lithology, porosity, and fluid classes - each with associated Vp, Vs, and density attributes.
