The Open-hole Caliper Tool provides reliable and repeatable indications of borehole size and geometry. Designed to be operated within a stock of open-hole tools. Typical configurations will include BHC Sonic Tooland/or DIL Dual Induction Tool.
The tool uses 2 caliper arms with rugged wear plates to accurately determine borehole diameter. Data can be transmitted to the surface in either analogue or digital format.
