The Dual Receiver Digital Cement Bond Log Tool utilizes a single acoustic transmitter and dual acoustic receivers spaced at 3 ft. and 5 ft. to accurately measure the quality of the cement job in a cased-hole environment.

The tool uses an oil filled mandrel and all ceramic transducers to withstand the hostile environment of the well bore and provide good stability over the operating range of the tool.

The electronics section is constructed using state of the art surface mount electronic modules mounted in a ruggedized package. The digital bond log tool can be stacked with Gamma-Ray-CCL and Neutron tools.

The bond tool accepts pulse from below and transmits the data uphole using Probe PTX telemetry. The electronics also contain firmware to perform an auto-calibrate routine when calibrated in a bond tool calibration fixture. These waveforms are stored in the tool and can be transmitted uphole upon operator demand.
