Description
This Gamma Ray – Casing Collar Locator (CCL) tool utilizes a scintillation style detector with a 1 x 4 inch crystal coupled to a ruggedized high temperature photomultiplier tube packaged in a shock mounted assembly.
The gamma ray and CCL information is driven onto a mono cable wireline and is received at the surface by any logging system capable of processing pulse data. The output pulse may be configured for either positive or negative polarity on the wireline.
The dual magnet center coil CCL provides maximum sensitivity through 7 inch diameter casing. Optional internal circuitry enables no loss in count rate when operated simultaneously with bond equipment.
The tool is configured with GO box on top and GO pin on bottom.
