Description
The Gamma Ray – CCL – Neutron Tool utilizes a scintillation style detector using a 1-inch diameter x 4-inch long crystal for the gamma ray measurement.
The crystal is coupled to a ruggedized high temperature photomultiplier tube packaged in a shock-mounted assembly. The instrument contains a single 1-inch diameter x 6-inch long He3 neutron detector.
The dual magnet center coil CCL provides maximum sensitivity through 7-inch diameter casing. Internal circuitry enables no loss in count rate when operated simultaneously with bond equipment.
